Can items be posted items?

Buying Questions

What if I change my mind and don’t want the reserved item?

You haven’t actually bought the item, your deposit simply secures the item for your exclusive inspection. The final purchase decision is always yours to make while you are inspecting the items in person with the seller.
If you decide you don’t want the item, just thank the seller for their time and walk away. Items stay with seller and you don’t pay the 90% final fee.

I’ve paid the deposit, but the seller isn’t responding or keeps cancelling the meeting. What should I do?

We understand how frustrating must be. You can report any issues caused by the seller by navigating to your Orders page (on My Account) and clicking the ‘Problem with Seller’ button. We will look into the matter promptly and, if the issue is verified as seller-fault, we will refund your full reservation deposit.

The uniform I bought turned out to be defective or damaged after I left. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds for items once the purchase is complete. Under UK Law, when buying from a private seller, the principle of Caveat Emptor (buyer beware) applies. You assume the risk, and the private seller is not obligated to offer a refund.
This is why the in-person viewing is essential: You are expected to perform your own due diligence by checking the uniform’s condition, size labels, stitching, and overall quality before you pay the final cash balance.
That being said, sellers are required to describe their items accurately and ensure they are still fit for their purpose (e.g., wearable school uniform). If you feel a seller grossly misrepresented an item (for example, hiding a large rip or defect), please let us know immediately. We take misrepresentation seriously and will ban any seller we believe to be knowingly selling items that fall short of these standards.

How can I report a fake/inappropriate product post?

All posts are manually approved by admin but if something has slipped through our vetting but scroll down to the bottom of the products page and click report item.

Seller Questions

What’s required to start selling?

To protect our community, you need to be a registered user. You will also need to supply us with your current mobile number and a Shop Name of your choosing.

How soon can I get paid for my item?

Instantly! If the buyer is satisfied with the uniform item during the in-person inspection, they will pay you the remaining balance in cash there and then before taking the goods.

My buyer keeps letting me down or failing to turn up for the meeting. What should I do?

We understand how frustrating time-wasters are, which is why we require a deposit. You have two options:

  1. ❌ Cancel Immediately: If the buyer has failed to meet you two or more times, you can contact us. We will cancel the reservation promptly, and you can relist your item immediately for other interested buyers.
  2. ⏱ Wait for Expiry: The reservation automatically expires after 4 days. The buyer forfeits their deposit if the sale doesn’t happen, so it’s strongly in their interest to keep the appointment. You can always try to reschedule and give them one last chance before the 4-day window closes.
